Description

The first of two animation drawings from the 1944 Tom and Jerry animated short "The Zoot Cat," with Tom trying to catch Jerry at around the 4:05 mark. In this 13th episode of the series, the bottom of the drawing has a production stamp that notes the drawing is from Production 104 and Scene 40. This drawing came from the Glad Museum Collection.

Attached is a screenshot of the short highlighted in Patrick Brion's "Tom and Jerry: The Definitive Guide to Their Animated Adventures."

Zoot suit Tom is one of the most remembered of the shorts. His frustration builds as he has to keep cool!

Some of the best animated shorts of the day were Tom and Jerry. It is evident in the quality of this drawing. Congrats on 2 great pickups.
