The Ant and the Aardvark - Aardvark Cel (Episode 1)

Picked up this cel of the Aardvark from the premiere episode of The Ant and the Aardvark cartoon, whose shorts were paired with The Pink Panther Show. In this scene, which occurs around the 1:59 mark, the Aardvark, attempting to eat the Ant, who's raiding a picnic basket, gets hit in the face with a pie. What kind of pie? As the Aardvark explained, "Coconut cream pie. You know how I know it's coconut? Because it's got a coconut in it. And it hurts." The cel is also signed by notable animator and animation director, Friz Freleng, who co-created the series and directed this first episode, which was released March 5, 1969.
