DescriptionI don't usually post art until I receive it in hand, but since Heritage hasn't shipped my art yet and it's been almost 3 weeks since I paid for it, I don't see it arriving before the holidays. So, I recently picked up my first Jaime Hernandez original, and as fate would have it, the prior page to the one I bought became available. It's always nice to acquire consecutive pages to a story. It's been an Amazing year for art pick ups, even though my personal life went through a wild ride this year. My father-in-law passed away in January, causing my wife and I to miss the first OAX show. Then my mother-in-law passed away soon after in April. In between that I was laid off from my job at the end of March. But the year is ending on a positive note having landed a new job recently. I'm looking forward to better days ahead!Social/Sharing |

Jaime shows his love for the lucha libre tradition and the saturday syndicated wrestling programs of the 80's. I love the double team and the ref scolding them for the outside interference in the scond panel. The camerawork is as if Jaime was one of the cameramen capturing the in ring action. Just like in wrestling, you got to get a beat down to get the crowd on your side before the big come back in 2025!

This is wonderfully illustrated. I really love how much action you can get from both large panels without a caption needed.

wow another gorgeous Hernandez page from this issue, congrats on getting the sequential art pages and hopefully HA gets it to you soon (yea they seem backed up as of late for sure). Hope 2025 turns things around for the best for you Rich, happy holidays.

Another terrific Jaime Hernandez page. Jaime's stories definitely lend themselves to collecting sequences!
