I am fascinated by Rogue's boots. Michael Golden drew them this way on the rejected cover for Rogue's debut in Avengers Annual #10. But there were very few large, full-figure shots of Rogue in this costume, and in small images, the boot cuffs were almost always rendered as flush against the leg. I found one exception where Paul Smith clearly drew them this way in X-Men #173, so it's nice to see him doing it clearly here.
