DescriptionRare specialty piece. It is the only time I have seen Caniff do a specialty piece in the form of a daily. This one was done to promote his old fraternity, Sigma Chi. His patronage to this fraternity continued through out his career and many pieces were done with reference to it or for the frat. Sized and finished like a regular daily but only would have seen print in the frat's newpaper.Social/Sharing |

Very nice early daily. Got all three main characters front and center along w/the homage to the frat. Very cool!
