DescriptionStarting off the New Year appropriately as we head back into the prehistoric era with this battle of epic proportions. This storyboard is the official first glimpse from the upcoming film, "The World of Jurassic World Park Rebirth 16: Saurounded". Safe to say Jeff Goldblum definitely has his hands full this go around! In all seriousness, how wonderful is John Amor? He absolutely nailed the concept! The frustration from Wolvie is palpable as he marches directly towards Sauron. The shading and technique he used on the character is fantastic. John also did a great job of capturing Saurons' size and stature as the wing extends to the opposite end of the page. Throw in some Screentoneasaurus-rexes in the background and the end result is savage indeed. John absolutely soared with this one! Sincere thanks to John Amor and Jiggy at Next Comic Art! Look at that wingspan! Such a majestic, psycho, dino-man!

The horizontal layout is great for this storytelling! Logan is walking calmly towards Sauron and we get to anticipate what happens next. You get the great John Amor screentone, plus his sharper thin line for all the details here.

Love this. Such a clean design and execution. I hope Wolvie is ready for a big Sauron hug!

Thanks for this fun assignment Tyler T! I had a blast. Also, I'm totally calling them "Screentoneasaurus Rexes" from now on.

You are welcome and I am honored! Lol I knew you had the same love for dinosaurs and the end result really shows here. I think we need to get Universal on the line before the next film comes out! :)

Nothing like a good savage land moment, very cool. I like how he broke up the foreground & background with those skeletal remains too, a nice touch to really tie the whole scene together.

Oh you may be kidding but we could very well see Jurassic Park 16 at some point, featuring Lykos! Love how large the wings are here and how much of the board the left one takes up. Got a shadowed Wolvie hinting at the coming throwdown and we's love us some zipatone accented dinos! And yes - John just keeps getting better and better! Congrats, T!
