I have wanted to add a cover from Kael for YEARS into my personal collection. I love his work, it is so unique. When i saw this cover I had to have it. The overall angle chosen for the piece, the rain effect, the Japanese architecture in the background all stunning. Mariko herself is even more jaw dropping. Umbrella in one hand (masterfully done), Japanese Tanto in the other ready to use it on anyone who challenges her, and lastly I LOVE THE MASK! Just a piece i truly enjoy! Her mask should automatically close up like the Iron Man helmet! Ngu's wash tones results in an aged look of myth and legend.
