Description

An Original Scott Shaw! Captain Carrot commissioned during a 4C web show on 2-May, 2023. The Captain and the Zoo Crew have always been one of those guilty pleasures of mine. While I am not a huge fan of what they have done to the Captain in recent years, it makes me happy that the characters are still around, in some form.

A timeless look by Shaw! When he introduced them in the 80's, it was full of funny animal humor that was a big throwback to 50's comics. It still has that good will and spirit after all the changes at DC.

Hey Marcus! I agree. I am happy that they included the character in the Justice League Incarnate book, but they write him as just another Superman pastiche almost, with the exception of the whole "cartoon physics" thing. WB has a kid level entertainment goldmine, yet they seemingly continue to squander it.
