DescriptionThe story wraps up with Draka's message to his son Harlan, through LaPierre: “And do you have something to say to me, Mister 'Draka's Lawyer?'” (The first time LaPierre's job has been specifically identified.) “Master Draka wants to remind you and your companions that he has saved your life once again, and that he has nothing against you and your profession.” “It's clear now. He brought his son into the world as a weapon against his enemies, since he himself is not able to kill them.” “He can't, or he doesn't want to. It's a kind of taboo, not a physical impossibility. But that's not the reason. He left me a gift for you. He said that you would understand.” “This… is my mother!” Some distance away, Mirela the tree hugger has found someone new to hug: Draka! “So, my handsome knight, have you finished admiring your castle? I hope that, despite everything, the Park will be successful. Even if it's so strange to think that an immortal needs to make money to live.” “That's the way things are, Mirela. But, above all, he needs love.” Thus concludes the story of Dracula Park. But this opens a can of worms. The last time (or at least, one previous time) that Draka loved a human woman, Harlan resulted. Mirela never reappears in this series, but did she have any Dampyr kids? Or did was the usual sentence of infanticide carried out for such half-breeds? Questions best left for another time, lest they disturb the happy ending. Fun fact: Harlan appeared on only 51 out of the 174 pages in this story. This is typical for Bonelli books that I've read; they spend a lot of time exploring the bigger story with secondary characters. Thanks to those who followed and commented on it during its original daily postings; I hope you enjoyed this look at a popular group of Italian characters. Social/Sharing |

Send lawyers, love and money!
Nice, romantic wrap page in the fine Italian tradition ;)
178-pages! Almost as impressive was your extensive translated write-ups. Thanks for sharing the book (and for not listing them all at once!)

Really nice wrap up to the story. I got so used to looking at 2 pages at the same time that I'm noticing more details than usual only looking at 1 page here in the finale. That final last panel is gorgeous and a very fitting image to take us away with the castle/park in the distance as they ride off. Thanks again for sharing it was interesting and entertaining to follow along.

It was Draka waiting for us, dear
He ran one step ahead
As we followed in the Drac
Between the parted pages, we were pressed
In love's hot fevered loin
Like a stake scary plans
Dracula Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, clean inking flowing down
Harlan left my page out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took too long translated
And Mirela love that finale again, again
