DescriptionSaowee had commission slots available so I reached out and asked if she could do Barbara, Cassandra, and Stephanie together as I love the dynamic they have especially with the latest Batgirls series!We chatted about which costumes to use, loving Babs' Burnside costume, whether to have them in their suits or casual wear, and whether to have the masks on or off. Sao: "I will draft something without their masks but do you prefer Barbara’s mask off too?" Me: I like the idea of having it on as she's a mentor figure to the both of them, but all three mask off would be good too. She sent me a pair of rough drafts (images attached) and I went with the zoomed out one as I liked the composition a ton. Also opted to have Cass standing as I felt it fit her character more. Sao emailed me excitedly this morning with a preview before her final pass and it was ALL I could think about the whole day! This is going smack in the center of the Batgirls pages/covers once I figure out how I want them arranged on the walls! Ton of process pictures attached, and there's a video of her watercoloring but I don't think I can upload videos here. Made with inks, watercolors, acrylics and color pencils. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
