DescriptionHere's a male figure study Jeff did a while back.Generations of outstanding artists have studied the approach to figure drawing pioneered by Frank Reilly at the Art Students League in the early 20th Century. Jeff Watts carries on this tradition, and he has produced my favorite life drawings of all time. Jeff is a great friend who has taught hundreds (thousands?) of artists in all aspects of traditional drawing and painting at his Atelier in the San Diego area, and he and his fellow instructors have generated an enormous trove of virtual course material. I can see you in the morning when you go to school
Don't forget your books, you know you've gotta learn the olden tools
Teacher tells you start your painting and get on with art work
And be like Johnnie-Too-Nude, not too cold he never shrinks
He's coming along
After school is over, oil painting with Jeff Watts
But don't be out too late, don't let it get nude art
They tell you draw them hang around and learn what life's about
And grow out bush like him, won't let you work it out
And you're full of doubt
