Description

The box cover of the infamous Lobo video game from Ocean Software that was slated for release in 1996 for SNES, Sega Genesis, and the Mega Drive. The game was ultimately cancelled after a lengthy development cycle due to poor reception of its gameplay. Thankfully, the iconic Semeiks/Dell duo were brought on board early enough in the process that box art was created for the game's release. Val was kind enough to include scans of the original sketches and the Ocean of America receipt to confirm its provenance as the box art for one of the most famous unreleased games.
