Description

Here's a beautiful 18"x24" burnt umber pickout oil painting by Andrew Burward-Hoy, done as a 25 minute demo in an art class at Watts Atelier back in the late 90s. I wasn't in class that afternoon, but when I saw this after the fact I bought it from him on the spot.

Andrew was a precocious art student in Fred Fixler's art school back in the day; he achieved an extraordinary level of skill as a young art student. By the time I met him the year before this painting was done, his craft was ridiculously good. One of the many incredible artists who came through Watts Atelier as a teacher or student.

wow pretty amazing for a 2 or 3 hour demo let alone a 25 min demo! Beautiful and deliate, love the sense of light. Not surpsried you have had this for 25+ years.
