Description

Here's a great 12"x16" oil painting by Andrew Burward-Hoy, done as a demo in an art class at Watts Atelier back in the late 90s. I wasn't in class for this one either, but I saw this after the fact and bought it from Andrew.

Andrew was a precocious art student in Fred Fixler's art school back in the day; he achieved an extraordinary level of skill as a young art student. By the time I met him the year before this painting was done, his craft was ridiculously good. One of the many incredible artists who has come through Watts Atelier as a teacher or student.

The punishment was missing out on these unreal demos lol... Actually, I think I wasn't even enrolled in art classes at this point, just visiting the school after having started a non-art-related career and saw these paintings on the wall and had to have them.
