DescriptionMatt Wagner's Grendel Universe returns to the dark city of Gotham with Grendel Prime finding himself hunting for the unholy relic that is the bones of Hunter Rose. Was able to pick this page up from Jim when he posted it and was real happy. Matt's depiction of the seedy underbelly of Gothan is perfect with the ruffians coming out to play with a very well disguised Grendel Prime.Social/Sharing |

That sielnt sequence in the middle is good stoytelling. It really doesn't take much to bait these over the hill punks.

nice page from the first issue! the highly detailed Men's apparel store alone is impressive and then you have the very detailed outfits/clothes/accessories and even tattoos on the figures in the bottom panel. great work by Wagner!
