Description

Joe came to El Salvador for Comic-Con El Salvador 2015 and he was kind enough then to do a pencil Lady Mechanika piece during his stay here. It has been a while since I've seen Joe at a con, ever since before the pandemic, probably 2018. So when I heard that he was attending OAX I decided to ask him if he could finish the piece for me and I was lucky that he obliged. The end result is this fabulous Lady Mechanika piece. I have added a scan of the pencil piece for a before and after image. Joe I want you to know that this is one of the most meaningful commissions in my collection! Go JOE!

Lady Mechanika is definitely one of the highlights of Benitez's time at Aspen. Incorporates the bad girl and steampunk style of the Victorian era where everything is done and intricately designed with a purpose.
