DescriptionThe pages I am posting tonight from this issue (pgs 7 & 8) are my favorites from the 3-issue story. Two sequences are going on at the same time, with wildly different moods for each. On Earth, mere seconds are passing as Re-Po approaches Randy with a switch blade, whereas in Limbo, days are going by as Spidey and Rek-Rap journey their way through Limbo (and Re-Po's innards) to get back in time to save Randy. I highly recommend taking a look at the published pages, cuz there's some really funny stuff goin' with Rek-Rap and Spidey. ("When in doubt, follow the Esophageal Tube!" and "I think this thing is made out of meat" -- "Correct.") The coolest thing about these two pages is that Ed intentionally constructed the images to look like the black and white keys of a piano, with the black key images showing the gripping suspense on Earth and the white key images showing the amusing antics in Limbo. As a guy who has been playing piano all his life (and even made a living at it), I was especially excited to get these pages. I thought about just doing one post of both pages in one image, but there's just too much stuff going on. But I did include an additional image of the two pages merged. Surprisingly enough, I like the Re-Po story better, probably because it continues to have that Film Noir feel with Robbie's kid about to get murdered!

I really love the extreme contrast between the two sequences.

I am adding "Cowa-Chugga, Baby! Choo Choo!" to my vernacular ASAP and will practice working it into social situations until I feel completely comfortable. It will take awhile but practice makes perfect.

Hahaha! I'll do that too! Together we will make it as common of an expression as "Yippee!"

I love that McGuiness comes up with different panel layouts for pretty much every page, makes these pages look super nice - glad to see all these pages show up in your collection. Congrats.
