DescriptionI recently saw a mono character jam piece here on CAF, and got inspired to start my first one with my favorite character - Swamp Thing.Similar to the one I saw, this will be creators that have published Swamp Thing work. I was fortunate enough to go to PCKC this year where Doug Mahnke and Phil Hester were attending. * Doug provided pencils for Swamp Thing: Green Hell * Phil end capped volume 2 drawing issues 140-171, with a few filler artists here and there - I told Doug I was starting a jam piece and he was excited at the prospect of being the first one, since he could be in the middle lol. True to his version, from his Swamp Thing Green Hell story; he penciled this head sketch with quite a bit of line work. Considerate guy who continuously worked on this sketch, even though he was bombarded wave after wave by fans. Appreciate him for taking more time than I was expecting. Thanks Doug - Afterwards Ande Parks graciously provided the inks, even though the Bristol board that I brought slowed down any significant drying progress. Thanks Ande - Lastly Phil, does what he does best, be awesome. Whether it was the 1 on 1 interaction with me, other fans or creators. He’s on CAF, but not sure he’ll see this since he doesn’t have a keyword search set on himself lol I asked. But thank you Phil. It was great to meet you, hopefully see you and Ande in the future. He let me watch his whole process start to finish. Decided to keep the pencils underneath for now, 11x17 Social/Sharing |

The jam is off to a rousing start! Everyone has their own little spin on the character to mark another era of Swamp Thing lore!
