DescriptionI'm in very unfamiliar territory with these pieces. Three pencils used for the 1934 film Orphan's Benefit. I'm really starting to appreciate the dynamics/energy of early animators and their impact on comic strips and artwork. Those that came from animations backgrounds, which many did, had an advantage when it comes to creating characters that moved within the panels. I don't expect to collect animation art but a few pieces here and there will find their way into my collection as I explore other parts of comic art history.Social/Sharing |

Long-billed Donald drawings are hard to find, and these are wonderful examples. I saw that you don't intend to collect a lot of animation art- you selected some great pieces!
