DescriptionFree Comic Book Day 2019 Spider-Man/Venom #1 - COVER1st appearance/cover appearance of "Absolute Carnage" Pencils AND inks by Ryan Stegman. Secondary overlay cover also penciled and inked by Ryan Stegman on a separate board. Prior to the extremely popular "Absolute Carnage" series written by Donny Cates and drawn by Ryan Stegman, Ryan drew this cover for the Spider-Man/Venom #1 Free Comic Book Day issue which is the first time this specific version of the Carnage character appeared and was on the cover. That also served as the beginning of the event series with many tie ins. Absolutely love this piece, Carnage looks epic soaring above Earth in space. Congratulations! Likely destined to become an iconic piece that launched a monumental event which has already begun to send ripples throughout the Marvel universe. Perhaps someday the cover and the story can be reunited ;)

Beautiful cover and this will certainly have a ton of nostalgia in the future for all those kids that picked up this free comic book at their local store! Great score!
