Description

Rai 0 is defintly an iconic cover and the book layed out the next years of the Valiant Universe (or was at least supposed to). Not sure where that cover is and certainly couldn't afford it even if I did. I noticed when artist Kyle Willis post this up on his IG which is the cover for the new series and an homage to Rai 0. This is a huge piece on 18X24 canvas (check out the additional photo). The words that if you zoom in that you see are from Rai or Bloodshot comics. This was for the front AND back cover for the first exclusive done by Alien books since they've taken Valiant over. It so happens that it was for a comic shop near me. So it would seem that the stars aligned. If all of that wasn't enough, he donated half of the money to the American Cancer Society.

Impressively put together with a collage fragments that add up to more than the sum of its parts with the pull of nostalgia!

Whoa, that's SIIIICK! Not only an homage of a cool and memorable cover, but how brilliant is it that he recreated it as a full blown collage? And with pieces from Bloodshot comics! Awesome, Jason!
