Description

Incredible title splash of the second part of Matt Wagner's classic "Faces" storyline. A stunning image of Two-Face and some creepy dialogue make this a favorite of mine. I really like the way Matt extended the large Two-Face figure behind the inset panels with the left foot appearing at the very bottom of the page below "One-Face".

Wagner's style and craft here is superb. I really loved this era of his art.

Absolutely monstrous, in all the most wonderful ways... Fantastic layout and execution here, taken over the top by the super creepy, mad scientist laboratory backgrounds. Many great artists have been able to work magic with Two-Face, but the fact that graphic design has always been such a core component of Matt's work gives him a leg up on creating an impactful and unmistakably unique approach to ol' Harvey Dent. The "Faces" storyline really felt like a present to us all, with pages like this providing the Christmas morning bow (and brilliant lettering, too!). -GORGEOUS- piece, Jim - astonishingly cool. Sincere congrats!
