To say that I'm excited about the latest live action Star Wars project premiering tonight on Disney+ (Ahsoka) would be a massive understatement.

It's been such a longtime coming to see the continuation of the stories of so many fan favorite characters from the Star Wars Rebels animated tv series.

And while Ahsoka Tano herself does not appear on this particular page from the Star Wars Rebels Magazine comics number 27 (originally for UK/France/Europe but also published here and later collected and re-printed by Dark Horse Comics in TPB form in 2022), so many of the other major characters from the show and some of the ones that are expected to be in the new show are all here!

Ezra (Ezra Bridger), Sabine (Sabine Wren), Zeb (Garazeb Orellios), and the Ghost starship (!!!), as well as Kanan (Kanan Jarrus, RIP) all appear on this awesome page showcasing art from Ruairi Coleman. I am really looking forward to seeing Hera Syndulla and Chopper in live action too plus whatever other surprises and new characters there are in store for us fans as well.

That's about all I can muster, too excited for new Star Wars in the galaxy starting tonight!

I really enjoyed the first two episodes of "Ahsoka" last night, but then I'm a huge fan of "Rebels." Seeing the characters in live action is not something I ever thought would happen. This is a great piece of OA to mark the occasion!

Excellent page! It's so great that the Ahsoka show is picking up where the Rebels' last episode left off. The fate of Ezra will finally be revealed.

Bonus trivia time! Writer Martin Fisher said this 12 page story titled "A Time to Survive" takes place during season 2 of the Rebels animated series timeline, between the episodes "Homecoming" and "The Honorable Ones."
