Description

So I can hear it now, you say you like horror, what is this?

Well this was a random pick up of a British Robot Archie story from 1969. In War comics, you see a lot of WWII and Vietnam (esp in the US of course) and you may see some Foreign Legion pieces, but I have never seen a lot of WWI story lines. I like the action in this piece, especially the first two panels where Archie is besting the two armoured trains. Also, a bit reminiscent of Iron Man, although Archie predates him by a decade.

Beautifully detailed work, like a lot of British comic art that is barely known on this side of the Atlantic.

very cool rare WWI art! as an Archie fan I am missing Veronica and Betty but in this context I understand haha. congrats on the unique find!
