DescriptionIf you are a Tom Lyle fan (and many comic art collectors are!), then this is a special piece for you. This is an Original Art Page from one of Tom Lyle's very early published comics. This is Pg. 1 from the Skywolf story Queen of Yeti Valley in Airboy #14, published in 1987. Tom Lyle was the penciler on this piece, and it is one of his earliest title pages. The late, great Tom Lyle was a beloved artist, well-known for great artwork on Starman and Robin for DC Comics, and Spiderman at Marvel, and this is probably one of the most incredible pieces you could hope to get by him. The art is on art board measuring approximately 11" by 17". Please note it does have some general wear, with bend marks at the edges of the board, a small tape piece at the top left edge, and the text lettering has been pasted on and has discolored somewhat. Don't miss out on a chance to get a historic piece that would look amazing framed, and would be a key piece in the collection of any Tom Lyle fan.Social/Sharing |
