How do you not include Rogue in a series like this!? Jim gives her this delightful expression and it reinforces the delight one would have mid-flight. The whole piece conveys that sense of speed and motion. The line work and ink on the trees, the wash to convey the clouds, and the negative space birds. I love how her belt is flying off to the side and you again see Jim draw another sick jacket. The strands of white hair framing the eye again and the pose leading you over, across, and up to the face again. You get that sense its a chilly day streaking through the sky. It's brisk yet powerful. I love how much is layered into this piece. Look at the gorgeous crosshatching on her headband and under her glove. Amazing!
