Giffen Legion is among my favorites. His gritty, Kirby-esque style worked perfectly there, imo. Just such powerful comic imagery, like you have here. Great find. Congrats!

Wow, this is some KEY card art for Legion fans! What I like best about them is that it gives us an opportunity to see Legion/Great Darkness Saga imagery done by Giffen, but in the completely different style he was using during the period these cards were being produced. Way cool!

Very nice! Agree with Ruben that it is cool to see Giffen drawing a past event in his current (at the time) style. I felt the same way about the Great Darkness Saga Trade that came out back in the late 80's.

Wow those are great! Giffen fit tons of detail onto those little cards! It almost makes me want to forgive him for "Five Years Later", but not really :)

It's kinda like having the whole GretDarkness saga done by the man himself. An excellent example of a unique artist and representing (what I hold as) the best Legion epic ever.

I'm a HUGE fan of the DC COSMIC CARDS/TEAMS series and this is a great set of images, beautifully recapping the event ! I wish DC would .have continued this trend (of event centric cards) in the following sets
