Description

This past weekend I attended the Big Lick Comic Con NOVA, which is one of my local shows. At the show, inker extraordinaire Mark Morales had a table. Mark is best known as a superb inker for artists like Ed McGuinness. But Mark is quite the talented penciller, as this 11" x 17" Two-Face commission shows. Harvey Dent is my all-time favorite villain and Mark did an outstanding job depicting everyone's favorite bifurcated villain.

By the way, if you ever get the chance to speak with Mark Morales at a convention, please take the opportunity to do so. The man is quite the scholar of comics history and a great conversationalist.

Oh you can definitely tell Mark is an inker. Those lines are just so clean. Especially on the white side of the suit. The work on his face (both halves) is fantastic also. First that incredible Mark Buckingham piece and now this. What is it with you and inkers? Anyway, thanks for opening my eyes. Great stuff buddy!

Morales is one of the industry's finest inkers! Look at the craftwork and razor sharp lines! He leaves just enough light in between for the black suit lining to show up. Every monsterous detail is flawless.

A great looking piece. I'll need to add Morales to my list of artists from whom I need to get a commission.
