DescriptionA while back, I posted the cover to this issue (Please click on the link below to check it out if you'd like)I was fortunate enough to also pick up a bunch of interiors, so I thought I'd better get crackin' posting them. Release the Kraken!! This page 1 full page splash is mainly a set-up for the DPS that follows, which I'll post tomorrow night. It is a really fun page on its own though --- it makes you wonder what the hell is goin' on. There is a guy in the foreground who is obviously terrified (is he falling?), and you can also tell that the action is taking place waaaay up high in the air. Amongst the items that are definitely falling, you can see Spidey reflected in the lens of a camera. That seems to be Peter's phone as well. And also some money in an envelope that says "Aunt May F.E.A.S.T.). Lots going on! Stay tuned! Here us a link to the cover to this issue: ASM 61 cover Social/Sharing |

"---it makes you wonder what the hell is goin' on."
That's exactly what I was trying to figure out as I stared at it for a couple of minutes! Then I concluded that some idiot stole Peter's camera bag, but for the life of me I can't figure out why he'd be falling out of a skyscraper, along woth the bag and all of Peter's belongings. But it sure makes me want to see the follow up dps to find out!

Agreed!! I love a page where you have to stop and look more. Sometimes comic art sequentials have a familar pacing and look to them on the surface, this isn't one of those examples.

the extreme perspectives and little easter eggs to notice within is what makes this splash cool...plus I always love the falling pages! the DPS must be an eye opener revealing the full scope of the scene!?
