DescriptionThis one is a Winner. I obtained it by trade and it deserves a Price. I am so happy to add this Wonderful piece to my collection of my favorite and most memorable Movie Experience of all time, "The Star Wars". Published and created for the Center-Fold Double Page Spread of Rocket Blast Comic Collector (RBCC) Magazine for the Star Wars Edition Circa 1977, by Sci-fi Master Artist Ralph Fowler. This piece captures Luke Skywalker's harrowing Death Star trench run assault as Darth Vader is closing in on the T-65B X-Wing Star Fighter attempting to get the kill shot, with his wing men tie fighter pilots in perfect formation. Han Solo and the Mighty Chewbacca come to the rescue in the Millennium Falcon, giving Luke Skywalker the chance to fire two photon torpedoes into the Thermal Exhaust port of the Death Star, creating a chain reaction that destroys the Star Killer battle station. The Image perfectly captures the dynamic Speed of the trench run assault. The Image is huge on 20x29 Art Board. I photographed it on regular camera and on the CamScanner Photo App. I think the regular photograph is better but the alignment is still a little off.Social/Sharing |

Vader stalking Luke in the trench run, and Sheriff Buford T. Justice stalking the Bandit during the Coors smuggling run from Texarkana to Atlanta (accomplished in less than 28 parsecs), were major influences on young me in 1977. Nice one, Alfredo!

After watching Star Wars over a hundred times, we can instantly recall this freeze frame in our minds even knowing it was a few seconds of different shots edited together.
