He's got an Eastwood look to him. Especially with the age in the face and hair and of not giving a damn attitude.

I agree, especially on this splash page.

I might be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that artist Martin Simmonds mentioned in interviews that many characters in The Department of Truth are based on real people — and that David Lynch was one of his direct inspirations.
