Description

A 1985 poster comp for "Ladyhawke", Richard Donner's fantasy fantasy cult movie starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Rutger Hauer and Matthew Broderick. Original concept artwork by British artist Eddie Paul. Paul was co-founder, managing director, creative designer and illustrator at Feref (the most popular film marketing agency in the UK). This design guide was turned into a poster proposal by poster legend Brian Bysouth (in a concept that remained unused). The piece comes from Bysouth's personal archive (he signed it on the reverse). Area of the drawing measures 53x36 cms, mounted on a 60x44 cms board.
