Description

This cool 8.5 x 11 illustration of Silver Surfer and Galactus, which I picked up during an art sale fundraiser, was created by EV Cantada of Next Comic Art. What I love about this illustration is how the Silver Surfer is flying into the "frame" and the use negative space in Galactus, especially with the star/space effect. It has an Eternity vibe to it, which really drew me to the piece.

Looks great how Cantada creates separation in between the two by the perspective and angle taken by Surfer's board! However, instead of solid black shadows, the space star field is used to create a symbolic way to keep them cosmically tied together.
