DescriptionI was saving Superman for someone like George Perez but when I had a chance to get Ted in this book I knew what character I wanted. No offense to George but Ted is one of my favorites that I would buy anything he did. I am glad I got it. I have never seen a Superman like this. Ted’s style is truly unique and I’m dying to see what he’s up to these daysSocial/Sharing |

What a fantastic drawing. I miss seeing new McKeever art myself. I hope he is enjoying some downtime but I cannot imagine him spending all day on the golf course. Your choice of character for him to draw is absolutely inspired and not just because of that prestige one-shot he did with the L’Officiers. One of the greatest [unoffical] Superman stories I have ever read is Ted’s collaboration with Dave Gibbons writing on a story called “Survivor” which appeared in a UK miniseries called A1. Your drawing is buzzing with energy.

Yeah, if I discovered he was a keen golfer I might have to eBay my entire Ted McKeever comic collection. I think he was more a “weights” type of guy. Bet he still looks ripped.
