Herbert �Herb� Trimpe was a mainstay artist at Marvel in the 1970s and beyond. He is best known for his long run on The Incredible Hulk, as well as significant work on Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Marvel Team-Up (#106-118) where he co‑created characters like The Shroud and helped introduce Captain Britain.

Joe Giella was a legendary DC Comics inker, widely regarded as a defining artist of the Silver Age. He regularly inked over Carmine Infantino on The Flash and Gil Kane on Green Lantern, as well as working on Batman, Detective Comics, Strange Adventures, and Mystery in Space. Later, Giella drew the syndicated Mary Worth strip from 1991 until his retirement in 2016. He received the Hero Initiative Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016 and entered the Inkwell Awards Hall of Fame in 2018.
