Original final poster art painting by Boris Vellajo for the movie National Lampoon European Vacation. As a fan of 80s movie art in particular, the two paintings by Boris Vellajo for the first two Chevy Chase National Lampoon movies have always been standouts for me.

Assuming the he was painting a parody of the Star Wars/Conan posters? Love this (and the first movie poster he did as well).....great addition to your collection, congrats!

I'm pretty sure that was the case - definitely heavy Conan vibes - the pose is also similar to even his own Empire Strikes Back painting from 1980...
