Description

I had spoken to Mike about commissioning Gatchaman portraits from him for what seems like a few years now. Seeing that he was going to be at Terrificon I reached out to ask if he had time to do one for me to pick up at the show. From our previous conversations about it, I could tell he was excited to work on it. I told him I'd like to get each of Science Nija Team Gatchaman from him in the near future, I told him to surprise me with who he wanted to start with. Ryu (or Tiny in the US) was a cool surprise! This is only my second individual piece of the character and I love Mike's choice of colors, as always! This was one of my high lights from the show! Looking forward to getting the others done soon too to have them all framed and hanging in my studio!

Looks cool with Mike's considerable color skills, but my favorite is the face of an owl and a double chin showing that heroes can come in different shapes and sizes.
