DescriptionAnother series I enjoyed reading as a kid and once again I asked Bob Layton to do a large double page commission based on that series. He substituted one hero by mistake....let's see if anyone can figure it out who that was.Social/Sharing |

I can't help but hum the XMEN cartoon theme while looking at this amazing piece! Duh dallah da da.. duh dalla da da.. duh duh.. repeat. lol thx for sharing

Spider-Woman is my guess on the hero who was not in that fight.

Theres a possibility its a trick question as Spidey did not have his new costume till issue 8.

With Layton filling a few times for Secret Wars covers and the other artists of the series not doing commissions, this is a fabulous get that could have doubled for advertising or poster art back then.
