Description

A lost Necronomicon Ex-Mortis page depicting Castle Kandar, hand-illustrated by Tom Sullivan for Sam Raimi's Evil Dead II. Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) and Annie Knowby (Sarah Berry) looked through lost Necronomicon pages Annie recovered from an archaeological dig at the ruins of Castle Kandar by Annie Knowby (Sarah Berry). Later, Ash used the lost pages to defeat the evil forces in the cabinPoints of purposeful distressing applied to this page screen-match to a close-up of the page when Ash and Annie are looking through the loose pages. Made from thin beige paper, this page originates from the personal collection of special effects artist Tom Sullivan. It features an illustration of a large castle on a cliffside with ancient symbols. In addition to the stains and creasing intentionally applied for production, the page exhibits some additional creasing and tearing from use and age. Dimensions: 6" x 8" (15.25 cm x 20.5 cm)
