Description

Revolver #1 (Renegade Press 1985 but originally intended for Astral Frontier (Western Pub. 1982), here are two back-to-back pages featuring STEVE DITKO twice-up art featuring his brand new cosmic creation, Star Guider. Western was all set to publish these when it canceled the title after Ditko did the work...thankfully, Robin Snyder published the adventures of Star Guider with this story appearing in Revolver #1.

It's unmistakable Ditko! It's like a time capsule into his signature style with a nostlgic rush of his work for Charlton and Marvel on full display in this new story.

These are great! TwoMorrows is actually coming out with a book soon by Jack C. Harris called "Working With Ditko" which has Star Guider on the cover. Hopefully the book will include some interesting backstory about this issue.
