Description

Spider-Woman mysteriously appears and introduces herself to the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four, as Captain America, Thor, and the rest of the heroes are alerted by the stranger. Supposedly from another piece of Battleworld stolen from Earth, Julia Carpenter first appears on this opening title splash wearing a costume which ends up being eerily similar to the Black Symbiote costume Spider-Man "creates" just one issue later. An unexpected first appearance from a character who would eventually play a big part in the Marvel Universe!
