This is a very early Jetsons merchandise piece, the original cover to the first Jetsons coloring book, painted in gouache and published by Whitman in 1962. It's dated 9/20. 1962, just three days before the premiere of the series on 9/23/

They must have had someone in the animation department paint this as it looks to match the show's look! Lousey space cops got George in a speed trap just like they used to do a hundred years back in 1962.
