DescriptionI cannot imagine a more perfect example of Lucy's relationship with Schroeder. I guess we are all oblivious to some degree as to what other people think of us, but I would venture to say that good ol' Lucy was willfully blind when it came to Schroeder. This is yet another example of Schulz' absolute perfection in the peak year of 1962; even the timing of the joke is good. In that year he also used little curved lines around eyes and drew tongues sticking out of mouths, as seen here in the figure of Schroeder. He rarely used such expressive devices in other years, and I really cannot understand why.Social/Sharing |

100% agree, this one represents Lucy and Schroeder"s relationship. Schroeder could care less but Lucy thinks she it the center on the universe which is why you have to love it.
