This little doodle will probably be considered insignificant on this site.

BUT if you know your manga art (and your mangakas), you know how difficult, if not plain impossible, it is to obtain any original form artists coming out of Japan. That is slightly changing due to the pressures of our mercantile mundialization but the OA �market� is far from what is in the West.

So at this stage, obtaining ANYTHING from a mangaka or a renowned Japanese animator is a small celebration.

In this case, a monster doodle from Blame, the most and celebrated well-known series from Tsutomu (Knight of Sidonia, Wolverine-Snikt!, Biomega, Aposimz�) Nihei, one of the modern Japanese (Sci-Fi) masters.

Done inside a French volume of the series.

This reminds me I should probably get to post my other doodle from THE most famous modern mangaka ever (TEASE!) at some point.

Wow - I don't really know anything about Manga or Mongakas, but I'm happy to learn... Like so many other pieces in your amazing collection, this one will undoubtedly set me off on an adventure to learn more about the artist and subject of their works... I LOVE the portrait / "doodle" here. I know it was probably quickly dashed off by Tsutomu, but I really like the design of it. Definitely another to add to my "check this out" list. Congrats on this really lovely, rare piece!
