Description

I've been a big fan of TORPEDO since discovering it via the Catalan Communications translations from the '80s. TORPEDO 1972 is a new series, time-jumping 36 years to the early '70s, bringing us that evil bastard Luca Torelli as a senior citizen. It's the DARK KNIGHT RETURNS trope carried forward by Marvel with the OLD MAN LOGAN universe and now reaching TORPEDO. Whatever you want to say about this project, one thing everyone will agree on: Eduardo Risso is the perfect artist for it.

Came across this randomly while browsing OA with Nick Dragotta at Naples Comicon. A totally unexpected find. Then as we were checking out publisher booths, saw that the art has also now been used for Risso's new hardcover art book. A great souvenir from our Italy trip.
