Description

John Sink: First Love #77 Complete 6-page Story "Mardi-Gras Madness" Original Art (Harvey, 1957). Carol Harrington falls in love with a masked man at Mardi Gras, but then he disappears into the crowd. Should she heed the affections of her infatuated boss, or wait another year for the mystery man to find her? A torrid tale of romance and fancy costumes, cleanly rendered with a nice full-page title splash. The artwork measures 14.5" x 19.75". Without doubt the finest Sink story in my collection.

Now this is how you return with a splash! You can almost get a feel of how Sink would have drawn superheroes with all the costumes here. This is a lovely piece, Lars!

When you look at the bottom of the page between their legs and feet, you see that detail in the distance. Adds such wonderful depth to the image.
