Description

When I saw the guest list for the March 2003 Lone Star Show, I had no clue who Joe Corroney was, so I followed the link to his website and found a bunch of really great Star Wars artwork. I contacted him via email about his commission rates and was all prepared to get him to draw something for me. I had seen a piece of Arden Lyn (a character created specifically for the SW: Masters of Teras Kasi Playstation game) in his online portfolio, and decided she was who I wanted - she was a cyborg badass that I used to play all the time in the videogame and I always stomped my friends into the ground when I played her, so she holds a special, if bizarre, place in my heart. I went to Joe's table right after I harrassed Stan Sakai, and told him what I wanted him to draw - he said he was pretty sure he had a finished piece of her in his stack of artwork, so I might want to look at that first. Imagine my surprise when I find the very piece I'd seen on his website! It was already inked and it's published (in an issue of STAR WARS GAMER magazine), all for the price of one of his commission sketches - what a deal! Pencil and ink on 8-1/2x11 Bristol
