Description

Huge fan of Peter Bagge. NEAT STUFF made me chuckle, but HATE was where it all came together. This cover for THE COMICS JOURNAL captures the fucked-up sensibility that made Buddy Bradley a big fave. He and Bagge pretty much saved the '90s for me, as far as comics went.

I think this was the cheapest lot from the Eric Sack Collection auction, which is kind of fitting. The last HATE piece I'll ever need (also kind of fitting).

When I think quintessential Peter Bagge HATE art, it's this Journal cover and the cover to HATE #1. Magnificent.
