DescriptionI cannot begin to tell you how special this page is to me. As a child Green Arrow was my favorite DC character and it seemed so wrong that he wasn’t a member of the JLA. When I saw the ad for issue 4 of the JLA promising his appearance, every day dragged until “Doom of the Star Diamond” showed up in my local drugstore and I was able to put my long saved pennies down and buy it.

This was one of the first two superhero comics I ever read. What a prize! I own a page from JLA #11, but you've scored a real comics milestone! Congrats!

Congratulations on your Grail page. It always makes me smile when I see that you've acquired a special want because of our mutual joy of the Silver Age. My JLA page by Sekowsky & Sachs is from JLA #7 p. 16 and has 7 members sitting around the meeting room table, which is kinda neat, too! If you like, you can see my page in my CAF Gallery.

Yours is wonderful description of the magic comics can weave, and that last panel is a true classic moment in the history of the JLA.

I share your experience, but two years later. JLA 29 was my first comic and it made a huge impression on me. Sekowsky isn't rated as one of the SA greats, but he made a big impact on a lot of us. On my birthday, my wife bought me a page from that first comic What a terrific gift. You can see it here.
Congratulations.

A stellar page from a key issue. The silver age doesn't get much better than this. To the best of my memory, this was also the first Justice League issue that I owned.

I commented on this page four years ago and feel the urge to do so again. Every time that I browse through the Sekowksy Justice League pages that are featured on CAF, this one stands out as being exceptional.
