Description

Jack Sparling: War Battles #7, Complete 6-page Story "The Holdout" Original Art (Harvey, 1953). Years after his regiment was wiped out in World War II, Sgt. Hiroto Yamagushi of the Imperial Japanese army has remained on the island of Tokawa as "The Holdout". Jack Sparling is the artist responsible for this terse six-pager, created for the unpublished seventh issue of War Battles. Each page has an image area of 12" x 18" and the condition is Very Good.
